1. Who operates Presswaves
Presswaves (presswaves.app) is operated by Wallace Batista de Oliveira, a private individual, hereinafter "Presswaves", "we". These Terms of Use govern the use of the site and platform by anyone who creates an account or accesses a public press kit ("you", "user").
2. What the service is
Presswaves lets DJs and music producers create an online press kit page — with music, photos, biography, and booking/management contact information — accessible through a single link, for personal use or to send to curators, venues, festivals, and press.
The service is currently free, in an early access phase. We may introduce paid plans with additional features in the future; if that happens, the price and scope of each plan will be announced before any charge, and use of the free plan won't be interrupted without notice.
3. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity carried out through your account. Provide truthful registration information (name and email) — we use your email for login, password recovery, and important notices about your account.
Accounts can be created directly or by invitation from a Presswaves administrator.
4. Content you publish
You're solely responsible for your press kit's content: text, photos, biography, links, and any music player embed code (e.g. Spotify, SoundCloud) that you paste into the form. That embed code is displayed exactly as you enter it, without prior content review by Presswaves.
By publishing a press kit, you declare that:
- you hold the necessary rights to the photos, text, and music shared, or authorization from whoever holds them;
- you won't publish illegal or defamatory content, or content that violates third-party rights;
- you won't use the player embed field for purposes other than embedding a legitimate music player (e.g., no malicious code or improper tracking).
A press kit marked as published is publicly accessible via its link (path or subdomain) for as long as it stays in that state — you control when to publish it or revert it to draft at any time from the dashboard.
5. License to your content
You keep all rights to the content you submit. By publishing it on Presswaves, you grant us only the license needed to store, process, and display that content as part of the service (for example, hosting your photos and serving your press kit's public page). That license ends when you remove the content or delete your account, except for what needs to be kept for a legal or security obligation (see section 8).
6. Acceptable use and account suspension
We may suspend ("ban") or delete accounts that violate these Terms, use the service for spam, abuse, or to host illegal content. Banned accounts immediately lose dashboard access and have their active sessions ended; the published press kit stops being publicly accessible while the account is banned.
Account deletion is irreversible: it removes your login, presskit, and associated media.
7. Availability and warranty disclaimer
Presswaves is provided "as is". We do our best to keep the service running and data intact, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability or complete absence of failures. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect damages arising from the use or inability to use the service.
8. Personal data
The processing of personal data is described separately in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be posted on this same page, with the updated date revised at the top. Continued use of the service after an update implies agreement with the new text.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Brazilian law. The courts of Brazil are elected to settle any disputes, with waiver of any other, however privileged.
